Backtagging: Always!
Threadhopping: If appropriate.
Fourthwalling: Prefer not.
Offensive subjects: If it's in-character, occasional malicious ableism against Matt is fine, but that's not what I'm here for so I don't want to make it a regular thing. Faux pas okay (for example, forgetting he can't read printed text). Rule of thumb is that if both characters can laugh about it with no hard feelings, it's probably okay.

Hugging this character: If he knows you, sure. Touching Matt in general is usually okay, though it's important to note that it's considered polite to let a blind person know you're going to touch them before you do, as most do not have Matt's ability to tell it's coming.
Kissing this character: Depends on who. No strangers please.
Flirting with this character: Absolutely! Matt's mostly into women, so he won't reciprocate with men (unless it's Foggy), but male characters are more than welcome to flirt with him anyway. I'm not looking to ship him with anyone at this time but casual flirting is fine.
Fighting with this character: Yes! However we should discuss it OOC first. Matt is a highly trained fighter and can do a lot of damage.
Injuring this character: Cuts, bruises, broken bones. Might be open to damaging one of his other senses for a little while. All injuries must be temporary. Again, we should talk OOC first.
Killing this character: No.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: I'd prefer to avoid when possible, but it depends on the circumstances.

Warnings: Not really a warning so much as a note about body language and use of non-visual senses. Matt is blind with no light perception, and the accident that took his sight also heightened his other senses to superhuman levels, allowing him to perceive a great deal about his environment and those he's speaking with. He can pick up on subtle scents to tell where your character's been and what they've been doing, for example, and his sense of hearing (and some help from other senses) allows him to map his environment and navigate around as well as (or better than) a sighted person. He can also pick up on specific gestures like nodding or pointing, though he can't detect facial expressions or make deliberate eye contact. He also can tell if people are lying to him by listening to their heartbeats. Unless your character knows he's Daredevil, or catches him in the act, he'll likely pretend not to be anything more than a typical blind man, but if there are any specific non-visual things you think he might notice about your character, please feel free to include them.
